Lump on head

Good Morning all,
Just wondering if this is something new or if it has anything to do with IH at all?? I have been fighting a severe headache for a couple of weeks now, pain meds hasn't been helping at all, I noticed a few days ago on the right side of my forehead I began getting sharp pains the best way to describe them is sharp, brain freeze type of pain, they come and go, and this is on top of the headache I have, Yesterday I got up and I have what looks like a goose egg on my forehead, and it is the curcumfrance of a golf ball, it sticks out enough that it is noticeable, and later when I looked at it again it is extending down into my eyebrow and coming back up to meet the lump already there if that makes any sense, not good at describing things, lol. I have an appt with my primary this morning and am just a bit worried. Have not read about anyone else having this so was just wondering about it. Haven't ran into anything or hit it to cause a lump, so thought I would ask if this has happened to anyone else and what it could be. Hope you all have a great day!!

LaDonna I haven't come across like this myself unless I've actually bumped my head. I do hope that your doctor will have answers for you, and will be able to put your mind at rest. Let us know how you get on. hug

Heidi, just got back from the Dr. not sure if it's good news or not. I am scheduled to have an MRI done on Friday Morning, then they are sending me to KU Medical Center in Kansas CIty. He said I had very serious symptoms, and is sending me to a neurosurgeon. I asked if they would see me with just Medicare, and he said they will see you. Not sure what is going on, but at the least may get some relief with the IH, just praying that nothing more serious is there. Thanks for all you kind words and support, will keep you posted. God Bless and have a great day.

LaDonna

Hi ladonna, I know we don't know each other yet, but just wanted to tell you to go the Dr which, thankfully , you have done.
I realise how frightening this must be but at least you are in good hands, they seem to know what they are dealing with and you will be over it all by Fri. So, try not to worry too much. Let us know how you get on. Cath 278

Thanks Cath, I think my family is having a harder time than I am, but I know I have to be strong for them. I have placed it in God's hand, whatever path he leads me down, I will walk it. Thanks so much for your words of encouragement. Will keep you all posted. God Bless

Hi Ladonna,
I hope that all went well today. I've noticed some strange things with my IH daughter over the years, but haven't seen anything like you've described. However, I know of another little IH girl that gets severely swollen eyelids when her pressure is up. So swollen that I can barely see her eyes. If the fluid can find a way, it will follow the path of least resistance, so perhaps that is what going on for you.

Please keep us posted on your progress!

Best Wishes,
