well I have had a head ache for 4 days now and have stopped sleeping as you all know I have had IH for 11yrs and last year had my shunt (LP), I have had low pressure head aches on and off nothing major completely manageable. but these last 4 days are different they arnt manageable and its more of a pressure than a low pressure. I know what high pressure feels like and I believe this is it and I am now starting to panic what dose high pressure heat ache with a LP shunt mean. it hasn't coiled again cos I have no swelling in my tummy.(mine coiled beginning of this year)

what is going on with me x

Contact your Neurosurgeon or the ward you were on for surgery, so they can investigate what's going on. He can do the necessary scans to check it out and also check for a blockage. I know it's worrying but make sure you keep a log of your symptoms to give them as much information as you can.

Please keep us updated.

It depends on where the blockage it.  It may mean a revision (so sorry).  It may also mean that your meds need a boost.  I find that some days I get a headache (I also have a lp shunt) other days, I'm fine.  If I take an extra Lasix, I feel much better, sometimes anyway.  It's worth a call to your docs to let them figure it out.
Hope you feel better soon.
