I get a horrible headache anytime I lean back or lay on my back. I was told that sometimes happens after placement, but I wonder if it's just another pressure issue. I also developed a Chiari Malformation from the shunt, so wonder if that's really the issue now. My daily headaches are gone & I didn' t have spinal pain again until today..I went back to work today after shunt revision four weeks ago, so not sure if it's body adjustments, muscle memory, or pressure needs adjusted. Any thoughts?

I had a vp shunt fitted 3 weeks and 2 days ago and im still not 100% on laying flat
its only been in the last week ive ended up laying flat and its been ok but when i frist tried it felt like it sent my pressure high. I still have to act like i have iih but with less pain meds. I think i need my settings changed in my vp shunt to let more through but i should be back in 3 weeks so im not stressing as the pain is no where near as bad as i was in.

dont know if this helps but big hugs x
