What is Papilledema?
Can you have raised pressure without Papilledema?
Can you have Papilledema in only one disc?

Papilledema is caused by is caused by raised intracranial pressure, which causes the optic discs to swell. It usually occurs in both eyes but can in rare cases occur in one. It can take hours to weeks to present itself, and if not treated can cause blurring of vision, visual obscurations, loss of peripheral vision or in extrememely rare cases, total loss of vision.
