Hey guys, a lot is talked about with the 'whooshing' sounds associated with IIH...does anyone get..like..i feel my pulse, very heavily all over my body, especially in my head, i can almost see it it's that 'hard' is this normal?

I have the feeling of feeling my pulse in my head but not all over my body. It feels sometimes like my head pulsates to the beat of my heart and my ears get blocked and all I can hear is my pulse. I've heard from other IHer's that they have experienced similar thing so your not alone!

I sometimes get that sensation and I almost feel like I'm coming out of myself like a vibration. It does feel weird but it only lasts for a short time.[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I just put this on the Facebook page but thought I would answer here too. I get it in my right ear, its like my heart beating really loud. my doctor said its called pulsatile tinnitus and usually means the pressure is too high. It used to be constant before I was diagnosed but now its just when I'm lying down and usually goes away within afew minutes.

I constantly have that feeling all over my body, and especially in my head and ears. I don't know why I never associated it with IIH before. I see my doc on Wednesday, so I guess I have something else to bring up with him now!

I notice after I have been in the car on a trip over an hour or so, that my body vibrates and it lasts for hours. It's like I can feel the blood flowing through my entire body. So annoying.
Jen is correct on the puls. tinnitus. I had "regular" tinnitus, the constant, same high pitched ringing that never went away until I got my CSF pressure adjusted.
