Hi, my name is Melissa. I have had IIH for 11 years. I had a shut put in last year in Feduary. Before the shunt I had 10 lumbar punctures. The doctors said I needed more but I just hate doing them. Not sure what else to say but I am so glad I found this site. It's nice to know that I am not the only one out here. Melissa - diagnosed 1999 798403

Melissa - diagnosed 1999 996753 Melissa, I'm so glad you found us. I must admit having a shunt was definitely worth it just to not have the lumbar punctures, so I don't blame you not wanting anymore. I hope that the information on here helps, and don't be afraid to ask as many questions as you need to.
