I tried to read as much of the forum as I can, to see if theres already a post on it.
Was just wondering how you deal with the pressure feeling that some of you may get inside your skull. No pain, just pressure.
For me it's inside the roof of my mouth especially, like I have a blocked sinus, but no mucus is in there.
Personally I tilt my head forward and stretch my neck out, but I can't do that all the time, it's just a temporary fix for a few moments. I can't do the caffeine thing because I'm intolerant to large doses of it and it'll make me feel queasy and panicky/anxious.
It doesn't hurt but it's really distracting and sets off panic attacks cause I keep thinking I'll die from part of my brain being squished! Strange I know.
Will it get better with increasing my dosage of Diamox?
The opthalnuerologist told me I can increase up to 1500mg(but not go over) from the dose I'm at as I need to if I feel it's not working well.
He also said only come in if I'm losing vision, I don't need to worry about pain or anything else really. Which is good because it's a 2 hour trip there and a 2 hour trip back with not many trains home!
Right now I'm at 750mg a day, split into 3.
I did 1 day of 4 doses spread apart after being on 750mg for a week but I got a blister and swollen side of my lip(almost like bites, didn't itch or hurt though), so to be safe I'm staying at 750mg until I can see my doctor.
But...yeah, what are your tips and tricks for your aches and pressures?
P.S, Who else gets the temple pressure?
