So I've noticed after the LP I got, I can't go to the bathroom without the same electric shock feeling in my hips and legs.
Is this a normal thing?

I'm still a bit achey in my lower back and its been only 3 days so maybe I'm over reacting.

Not at all! You may ache for awhile, but I would follow up with whoever ordered the test. My guess is they hit a nerve and/or you have some swelling that's keeping it agitated. Make sure you're resting and try some cold packs on the puncture site to reduce swelling in the meantime. If it gets worse/doesn't improve or you're unable to reach your physician, please go to the ER just to be safe.

I saw my GP today while I was grabbing a referral for the nutritionist. He said all seems good and to take it easy.
They told me it was a possibility they could damage a nerve and I'd have long term side effects, but to be honest I'm ok with that, as long as these headaches go away!
