| Hello all, I'd love any hints for better sleep. Sometimes the pain is so bad at night I have to get up and vomit, but that is rare, probably only 1x a month on average. I sleep, or try to, with a specially shaped neck support pillow topped by a down pillow. I sit up to read in bed, and put off lying down until I am very sleepy. I usually fall asleep for a couple of hours, but then the pain builds up to a point where I wake up, and am wide awake for most of the night. When I know I have to get up early, (I substitute teach) I take a 1/2 dose of zzzquill. That helps, but really, I would love not to have to depend on a sleeping drug every night! Sherry |

| Sherry, raising the head of your bed can be very helpful. You can place cinder blocks under the legs at the head of the bed, or use bricks. I use two wedge shaped pieces of foam so that it raises only the first three feet or so of the mattress. Works wonders for me. Hope this idea is something you can try. |
