Just a quick update. 1 week since lp shunt revision and I can't believe how well I am feeling again so quickly.  No pain meds at all yesterday.  Just a little sore at the incision on my stomach but no headaches since op.  Feel great even went for a 20 minute stroll yesterday.  As I said previously it was just a little blip.  LP shunt has worked brilliantly for me and has given me my life back

I hope that next time (if there is one) they will listen to you and act right away.  You've proven that you know what your body is doing!  Good for you!  And, congrats on getting back onto the road to recovery!

wow, so glad to hear your shunt is working for u hun. mine was fitted 26/11/12 and then was revised 12/12/12 as it twisted, it worked well up until a few weeks ago and now my headaches are back really bad. hope you have better luck with yours than i have with mine :(
