What is an MRA of the Brain?

MRA stands for Magnetic Resonance Angiography. It is an MRI procedure that specifically examines vessels such as arteries. They are used to determinec if there are any aneurysms, vascular malformations such as Arterio-Venous Malformation (AVMs), narrowing and blockage of the vessels of the brain, and to search for brain bleeds.
