I recently went to my 6 month check up with my neuro-surgeon and everything seems to be going great. My left eye disc is completely normal now and my right eye disc is just slightly swollen but nothing to be concerned about she said. She said it is probably because I was really tired but she is so happy with my progress Very Happy As I am headache free she reduced my Diamox to 500mg per day then in 7 months I have to go down to 250mg a day before I go back and see her next March. My doctor also said that I was feeling extremely tired because of the Diamox and surprisingly I do feel less tired since coming down to 500mg of Diamox.
I am so happy with these results and as its my 30th next year I am hoping I will be off the Diamox completely!

Jennifer

Thanks for this amazing update, Jen! Very Happy I'm so glad to hear that things are going so well with your IIH treatment ... hearing stories like this really helps give others hope, so thanks for sharing!

I too have been able to decrease my Diamox dosage in recent months and have also noticed a huge improvement with fatigue and other side effects at the lower dose. Smile
