I have low Potassium
I have low Magnesium

When you are prescibed a diuretic or a loop diuretic, they can cause your potassium and magnesium levels to deplete. You should be being monitored while on diuretics so if your Doctor tells you that these are low, it will be because of the medication. Don't panic because this can be rectified by doing any of the things below.

Potassium
To avoid low potassium levels, which can lead to muscle cramps, twitches, and an irregular heartbeat, take a potassium supplement and eat more fruits, especially bananas, vegetables, and juices

Magnesium
To avoid low magnesium levels, which can lead to weakness, muscle tremors, twitches, and mental dullness, take a magnesium supplement or eat more nuts, grains, and beans
