Diuretics, Diamox,Potassium and Magnesium levels

The drugs used to treat IIH which are diuretic based, can reduce the Potassium and Magnesium levels in your blood.

Make sure you eat foods rich in Potassium (e.g., bananas, peas, beans, tomatoes and bran, milk or orange juice) while you are taking this medication. You could even take a Potassium supplement.

Hypokalemia
Hypokalemia is another name for low potassium. The symptoms of hypokalemia is an irregular heartbeat along with constipation, fatigue and muscle aches and cramps.
Foods high in Potassium

It can also reduce your Magnesium levels so make sure you eat foods rich in Magnesium too.
Foods high in Magnesium

Alcohol is also to be consumed in moderation.

Reduce salt and foods high in sodium.

Diamox can also make you more sensitive to the sun, avoid prolonged sun exposure, tanning booths and sunlamps. Use a sunscreen and wear protective clothing when outdoors. It can also cause your blood sugar levels to rise and fall.

IMPORTANT: Make sure you speak to your doctor about checking your potassium and magnesium levels.
