Children and Scans
It is important to know what kind of tests your child may have and how to prepare for them. Although this information is provided by the Great Ormand Street Hospital (UK), the information regarding the procedures will most likely be the same whereever they are performed. The information below is to inform and prepare you and your child in the likelihood of undergoing these procedures.

Your child is having an MRI Scan

Your child is having a CT scan

Your child is having an ultrasound scan

After your child has had a scan under sedation

After your child has had a scan under anaesthetic

Your child is having a lumbar puncture

Your child is having ICP Monitoring
