I don't think my shunt is working

Just wanted to post and see wht yall think,... I felt ok the first few weeks ( headache wise) after my shunt placement, now a month later i hae had all my symptoms back the whooshing is there almost all the time again I was out sick from work yesterday I have had some nausea but not any sign of infection, I called NS already and they basically wont do anything uless I keep throwing up or get a fever.... So im looking out for signs of infection, but what if this thing is broken already?? I know thats possible from hours of reading others posts... its annoying that I have to sit and just live with it now when it would make me feel better if they looked at it and assured me it was ok, ive been feeling like crap again for a few weeks now its a let down really. I try to keep up with life and they put this in me for a reason but now dont seem to care if I am having a good outcome?!?? I know i need to give it time but its weird how i felt better and slowly got to point a again. makes me nerous. DOes everyone show igns of infection in a shunt faliure?
