Hi Paul and welcome to the group. We're so glad to have you here.

You must be really frustrated and disheartened at the moment, having to give up work for the time being because of your vision and the side effects of the Diamox must be hard, I know. The low pressure headache feels worse than the high pressure so I'm glad it's starting to settle down.

We've got lots of information and helpful booklets, plus I'm sure you have been reading some of the members stories and now know you're not alone, especially when it comes to the affects it has on our lives.

We're all here to support you, answer your questions and even to hear you have a rant because we believe in giving you you IIH voice here. We encourage you to keep a symptom log and also a medication log, which isn't just helpful to you, but for your family and doctors too, as it keeps an up to date record of what is happening with you in terms of medication side effects, and IIH symptoms.

If there is anything you need or any questions you need answered, or if you are just needing some help round the forums, just PM any of the Admin team or Moderators, and we will endeavour to help you all we can.

Heidi hug

Hi Paul, & welcome to our group. I'm soory to hear you're struggling & wonder if you've talked to physician about a blood patch. It's been several days since LP, so you may be leaking fluid. Unfortnately there aren't a lot of options..lay flat & drink caffiene are the best. If you're not noticing any improvement I'd contact your doctor asap. Hope you find relief soon!

Hi Paul! Welcome to our group! Very Happy I hope that by now you are starting to feel better from the post-lp low pressure headache. I've been there and it is no fun! The "laying flat down and drinking caffienated stuff" advice worked wonders for me in the past too. Check in when you can and let us know how you are feeling!
