_{Has anyone had nosebleeds?}

has any one else had nose bleeds well i say nose bleed its alway just in the morning like a blocked nose but its blood and will be like that for about an hour? just in the mornings? yet another wonderful strange item to add to the list lol

Sounds like you may be drying out during the night. You may want to try a squirt or two of nasal spray before bed and see if that helps. You might ask your pharmacist for a suggestion of what to try.
I wake up with dried mucus sometimes. I try to keep some humidity in my house to avoid drying out (that might help you also)........great excuse for having to pick up new cut flowers every week!

sleep apnea causes acid to be suctioned up into your nose while you are sleeping and may cause this amount of inflammation. it can also cause sinus problems which can also cause bleeding. that would explain why it only happens in the morning, after you were sleeping.

the past few weeks ive been waking up in the middle of the nite struggling with what seems like a blocked nose but is in fact blood, and my nose feels blocked all the time. i just thought it was because the weather has been so dry and hot but now not so sure :(

The best advice I can give you is to go an see your doctor, and he can check to see if it's your sinuses or if it's something you need to be seen in ENT for. I sometimes had nose bleeds but because of being sent to ENT I found out that it was my sinuses and I was given a nasal spray, and they've been a lot better ever since. Please let us know how you get on and hopefully it will be something that can be easily explained. Many of us suffer sinus problems because of the raised pressure with IIH.

I agree w/ Heidi..there are so many issues that can cause nose bleeds I would check with primary physician first. Hopefully it's something simple like dryness, but better to have them check if it's bad enough to wake you.
